The Fast and Furious franchise built its color vocabulary in the neon-lit streets of Los Angeles street racing culture. The amber of NOS flames, the cool blue of night streets, the garish colors of customized cars built to be seen. As the series expanded globally, its palette expanded with it, picking up the colors of Rio, Tokyo, and Abu Dhabi.
